If it's the 2000 model, most bundle versions come with at least a 4gb card so that sounds fishy already. On top of that you can get a Vita in almost mint condition for around $200 and a "good" one for $100~$200. A boxed one isn't worth $600+ especially since it's super easy to fake one.
